In 1 Timothy 2:1-3 we are instructed to pray for those in authority… and that is a big part of what this event has been doing since 1971 during Dick Greco’s first term as mayor. Our purpose is to pray for those in authority and to reach out with the Gospel to those who might not hear it in another way. Hosted by CBMC (Christian Business Men’s Connection), this co-ed event has blessed the lives of local leaders and business people for 47 years. In the past, the event has featured many prominent national speakers from the business, political, and sports arenas; Chuck Colson, Adolf Coors IV, Truett Cathy, Joe Gibbs, Bobby Bowden and Tony Dungy to name a few.
