History & Vision

Since 1971, the priority of the Annual Tampa Bay Leadership Prayer Breakfast committee members is to pray for those in authority within our community. In 1 Timothy 2:1-3, we are instructed and reminded of that truth. For over 50 years, CBMC Tampa Bay has hosted this premiere event which has featured many prominent national leaders from business, politics, and sports including Chuck Colson, David Dunkel, Wayne Huizenga, Jr., Adolf Coors IV, Truett Cathy, Joe Gibbs, Bobby Bowden, Danny Wuerffel, and Tony Dungy. Our desire and vision are to share the Gospel with business, community, elected, and appointed leaders.
